Quick Notes from the Mens Meeting
WTGC News & Links

Hello gents,

Here are a few quick notes on what happened at the meeting, for those of you who weren't able to attend. There are two issues that I would to bring to your attention:

1. Elections - All nominees for officer positions were uncontested, so here are your officers for the 2017-18 WTGCMA term:

Secretary: Warren Winslow

Treasurer: Al Skinner

Vice President: Rob Helm

President: Peter Stoj

2. Two-Day tournaments - Over the past couple of years, several members have mentioned that there were too many weekend-long tournaments in our calendar. As a result, I asked for opinions of the meeting attendees regarding reducing the Spring and Fall Handicaps each and they agreed that made sense ... so, that's what will happen next year. This leaves 5 weekend events in our calendar: Club Championships, Sr./Super Sr. Club Championships, President's Cup, Ryder Cup and Member/Member.

In closing, I'd like to thank my friend Dick DeSorbo for his service and support during the past two years, and extend a big welcome and "Thank You" to Rob Helm for stepping up to serve as VP for the next term.

If hope to see you at the Par 3 and/or at the course, but I don't see you before the Spring, take care and have a great Fall/Winter!

Regards,

Peter
